ACA Sports sign up Falkirk Football Club

Falkirk Football Club have become the latest Scottish Football League side to join ACA Sports’ list of official partners. You can now found the Falkirk Club Shop online at ACA Sports, with a full selection of the teams mechandise and clothing, including the new Falkirk Home Shirt and Falkirk Away Shirt for the 2010/2011 season.

Alistair Cameron, Managing Director of ACA Sports, said “We are delighted to have added Falkirk to our football club portfolio. The passionate and loyal Bairns supporters will be able to purchase the full range of Falkirk replica clothing from their own online store.

ACA Sports are proud to be the Official Online Retailer for Stirling Albion Football Club from the start of the 2010/2011 season. As part of the partnership, ACA Sports will stock all of this seasons new football kit and club souvenirs in the new Stirling Albion Club Shop.

Stirling Albion became the first team and only UK team to be owned by it’s fans, as the Stirling Albion Supporters Trust succesfully bought 100% of the clubs shares from the former Chairman, Peter McKenzie.

This might be a little old news, it’s only just come to our attention that Sky Sports News is pulling out of Freeview, by virtue of a handy Georgie Thompson advert, and will be a pay for channel from the end of this month.

In a deliberate attempt to drive more revenue towards Sky, you will have to sign up with a TV supplier such as Virgin, BT or of course Sky, in order to get your essential dose of Soccer Saturday or mid-week Soccer Specials and Jeff Stelling!

What do you get instead? Sky 3+1! You wouldn’t want to miss the World’s Fastest Police Chase Videos twice now would you?!

Precision Goalkeeping sign Kasper Schmeichel

Precision Goalkeeping have teamed up with one of the most exciting young goalkeepers in Britain, with the signing of Kasper Schmeichel who will help to design a Schmeichel range of goalkeeper gloves.

The son of legendary goalkeeper Peter, Kasper has been wearing some of the Precision Goalkeeping gloves already and is very excited to take this further with his own range.

“I had a number of other options but after testing the gloves I was overwhelmed by the quality and performance of the gloves, particularly the grip. The opportunity to design and develop my own gloves was something I couldn’t turn down and I can’t wait to see them on the shelves” Said Kasper, 23.

Due for release at the turn of the year, the new range will mark a hugely successful entry into goalkeeing by Precision Training, who launched their range of Precision Goalkeeper Gloves in May 2010, with fellow Championship goalkeeper Brian Jensen the first big profile player to wear them.
