The Scottish FA and Adidas continue there partnership to release the stunning new 2012-13 Scotland home kit. Scotland will be hoping they can lead the nation to a successful World Cup qualifying campaign, resulting in Scotland playing there first major tournament since France 98.

The 2012-13 Scotland home shirt features a complete redesign compared to the last Adidas Scotland shirt, although still coloured in the traditional Dark Indigo, it now has a very stylish 70′s look to the shirt.

A noticeable change to the Scotland home shirt is the addition of the new round national crest, paying tribute to the shirt worn in 1974 during the famous World Cup in West Germany. The Scotland badge features the Lion Rampant in the center and the date 1873, signifying the founding year of the Scottish FA.

A new addition to the shirt is the stunning embossed imprint on the chest, the unique Saltire design takes it’s inspiration from a range of sources from the Scottish FA’s history, including the new and old Hampden Park, the 1928 ball used in the 5-1 demolition of the England at Wembley.

Another new addition to the Scotland football shirt is the polo style of collar, colloured in white the collar features a Scottish Saltire on the front of the placket of the collar.

The Adidas Scotland home kit.

The Scotland home kit comes complete with shorts and socks, the Scotland home shorts are styled in the traditional colour of white, they feature a navy waist band and 3 stripes down both legs, the new Scotland badge is featured on the right leg. To accommodate both the Scotland home shirt and shorts, the socks are also traditionally styled in red and feature the Gaelic word “ALBA” on the calf meaning Scotland.
