The new Arsenal home shirt for the 2011/2012 footballing season is a 125th anniversary limited edition shirt made by long time kit sponsors Nike. The Arsenal home shirt follows the traditional design and colourway from Arsenal shirts of old, it will be seen worn by the London club in home games at the Emirates stadium and in European competitions.

The 2011 Arsenal home shirt features a special club badge with the dates 1886 – 2011 marking the 125th anniversary of the famous club, the badge also features the motto “Forward”, it was also present on the very first Arsenal club badge.

The Gunners home shirt follows last seasons shirt design closely as it features a classic red body and white sleeves running from the shoulder down, on the sleeve there is a red stripe running down both sleeves offer a good contrast. The shirt also has a red round neck collar in keeping with the 70s’s retro feel.

The home shirt will feature the new club badge on the the left chest and the Nike sponsor logo on the right embroidered in white, on the centre of the chest is the Fly Emirates logo printed in white.

Arsenal will be keen to keep Cesc Fabregas in the 2011/2012 season, who is seen modelling the kit for the London club.
