The Umbro GT Pro is Umbro’s new speed boot, the boot is designed with the fast and stylish player in mind. It’s styled in Black/Orange/White, offering a good contrast of colours that will stand out on the pitch.
The Umbro GT Pro weighs only 236 grams, the upper on the boot is built using a single piece of Japanese Teijin micro-fibre, this reduces the amount of stitching on the boot and promotes a streamline and lightweight design. Although not as light as the Adidas and Nike speed boots, it is still Umbro’s lightest boot ever.
The GT Pro features the Umbro “A-Frame” that was first introduced to the Speciali range sometime ago, the A-Frame is a vital part of this football boot as it’s the only real support for your foot, it works well to secure both sides of the boot together and provide a snug, sock-like fit.
It also features a strategically placed TPU striking zone on the forefront of the boot adding control, accuracy and a larger striking area in wetter conditions.
The Umbro GT Pro is the cheapest speed boot on the market right now, this will appeal to footballers who don’t want to go past the £100 mark for a football boots.
