This is the brand new England home kit from kit sponsor Umbro, just released in time for the 2012 European qualifiers as England kick off another campaign.
Inspired by modern day English culture, the new England home kit comes designed using a traditional English tailored for football concept, using experienced English Graphic designer Peter Saville as the main man behind the innovative design.
The England home shirt is made using two distinctive soft cotton fabrics, making it thicker for protection and more flexible for increased movement around the underarms. As well as this, the England shirt also takes a completely different look on the neckline, this time using a v-neck style collar with long open neckline to improve freedom of movement across the upper chest area.
A new multi-coloured St-George’s cross pattern on the shoulders and back of this England home shirt creates a modern unique look, inspired by designer Peter Saville, this multi-coloured pattern combines a mixture of diversity, modern England and traditional English heritage all in one shirt.
To complete the England home kit, the matching shorts are royal blue in colour with a traditional England and Umbro badge on each leg, whilst the matching socks are plain white in colour with a royal blue turnover and trim at the heel.
