Nike Football Boots - Fall 2010

Nike have just released a selection of fantastic updates to their football boots range for Fall 2010. All four Nike Foootball Boot ranges, the Nike Mercurial Vapor, Nike Total 90 Laser, Nike CTR360 and Nike Tiempo Legend, have had fantastic colour updates for release this October.

Nike Mercurial Vapor VI – Voltage Cherry/Obsidian/SilverNike Mercurial Vapor VI - Cherry

Another bold colour choice for the Nike Mercurial Vapor VI, the new Voltage Cherry colourway is sure to be an instant hit, with Nicklas Bendtner at least! Fans of the Nike Mercurial Vapor range are used to bright and striking colours, and this will not dissapoint as it might be there brightest yet.

A colour only change, nothing has changed in the boots technology, so you still benefit from a Teijin upper and re-engineered sole plate which combine for super fit, feel and comfort. The Nike Mercurial Vapor VI also benefit from a ball control coating on the instep, in this case in silver, which adds grip for better contact.

Other features of the Nike Mercurial Vapor VI include a full lace cover, internal heel counter and lightweight 230 gram weight.

Nike Total 90 Laser III – Platinum/Orage/Black & Black/Silver/Yellow

Nike Total 90 Laser III - Platinum

The Nike Total 90 Laser III features two new styles for Fall 2010, a striking white/Orange Black colour of their standard T90 Laser, along with a new black k-leather version for fans of the traditional feel of leather football boots.

In standard guise, the Nike Total 90 Laser III is a hugely advanced football boots, featuring an innovative ShotSheild which features swerve fins and instep pods for control, as well as off-centre lacing, lightweight upper materials and a high quality sockliner. The boot of choice for Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres, the T90 Laser III have also been re-released in a the Nike Total 90 Laser III K style.

Nike Total 90 Laser III K - Black

The T90 Laser III K features all of the same technology as the standard version, but replaces the lightweight synthetic upper with a heavier, more traditional k-leather upper. This appeals to players who like the benefits of leather, but deire the technology offered by one of the most popular football boots available. And, like many of the k-leather versions, this one comes in a black colourway, with subtler flashes of silver and yellow.

Nike CTR360 Maestri- Blue Sapphire/White/Black

Nike CTR360 Maestri - Sapphire

Despite only launching a year ago, the Nike CTR360 has been hugely popular with players of every level. So much so, that this is the 8th colourway of the boot in 12 months, and while more subtle than some previous colours, it still has enough style to help you stand out.

The CTR360 is a boot which fits the needs of players who value touch and control as their main asset, with a high quality leather upper and the boots clever dampening pods, which cushion the ball to inmproce touch. These pods also increase passing accuracy as they curve to the shape of the ball to offer a consistant contact.

This effect is enhanced by the boots pass pad, which has added texture to help add grip on instep strikes. The studs on the boot have been designed to help players control the ball, as more and more players use their sole to move and control the ball, while the rear studs offer a stable base.

Nike Tiempo Legend III – Pearl/Black/Team Orange

Nike Tiempo Legend III - Platinum

The Nike Tiempo III are boots with a long history, and while each new model features more subtle changes than most ranges, they are a boot which improves year after year. The latest colourway of the Nike Tiempo Legend III maintains there subtle appeal, even though they are mainly white in this style.

A touch and feel football boots made with a k-leather upper, these are favoured by midefielders and defenders looking for solid performance in control and comfort. With traditional design applied to centre lacing, more traditional stud configurations and a small, classic looking foldover tongue, the Nike Tiempo is a boot that will always have its place in the football boot market.
