Famous for his 2010 World Cup predication exploits where he correctly predicted 8 consecutive matches including the final, Paul the Octopus is back and this time backing England’s 2018 World Cup bid as his global status continues.

 Along with a host of top English celebrities including David Beckham, Noel Gallagher and Lewis Hamilton, Paul the Octopus joins the bunch in backing England’s 2018 bid, becoming the countries official ambassador in the process.

 Born in a Sea Life centre in Weymouth, Paul the Octopus spend two years of his life in a German centre, before being discovered during the 2010 World Cup as his physic predictions quickly shot him to international fame.
