Manchester United and their star players have allowed the cameras into their training ground to discuss what it takes and means to wear the famous shirt, which has been updated and launched today for the 2010 Premiership season.

The new Manchester United Home Shirt is available now, and for the first time since 2002 has a neat white collar inspired by shirts from the 1970′s.  As has been the case with the other Nike replicas for the 2010 season, the new Manchester United Home Kit has been made using recycled plastic water bottles!

The Nike Considered Design programme has already saved nearly 13 million plastic water bottles from landfill, weighing as much as 245,000 kg, which would ultimately have taken 500 years to decompose!

To mark the launch of the new kit, Manchester United allowed Nike cameras behind the scenes at the club training ground, with comments from some of the top players in the Manchester United team including Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.
